Terms of Service

Last updated: 25 July 2026

1. Agreement

By creating an account or using SnapAI Editor (the "Service") you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other consumer protection laws that cannot be excluded.

2. The Service

SnapAI Editor lets you upload images and apply AI-generated edits described in text. Edits consume credits. Output is generated by third-party AI models; results are probabilistic and we do not guarantee any particular result will match your expectations — failed generations are automatically refunded in credits.

3. Accounts

You must be at least 16 years old, provide accurate information, and keep your password secure. You are responsible for activity on your account. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms, abuse the Service, or attempt to circumvent credit, rate or content limits.

4. Credits, plans and billing

Credits are a prepaid usage unit with no cash value outside the Service. Subscription credits are granted each billing cycle; top-up credits never expire. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled and are billed by Stripe. You can cancel any time from Settings — your plan stays active to the end of the paid period. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy: requests must be made within 24 hours of purchase with no credits used, are limited to one per account, and are reviewed manually — your statutory consumer rights are unaffected.

5. Your content

You retain all rights to images you upload and the edits you create. You grant us a limited licence to store and process your content solely to operate the Service (including transmitting it to AI providers for the edits you request). We do not use your content for advertising or model training. You are responsible for having the rights to the images you upload.

6. Acceptable use

You must not use the Service to create or process content that is unlawful; sexualises or endangers minors; depicts real people in a defamatory, deceptive or non-consensual manner; infringes intellectual property; or is intended to harass or defraud. AI providers apply automated content filters, and we may remove content or suspend accounts that violate this section.

7. Availability and changes

We aim for high availability but the Service is provided "as is" to the maximum extent permitted by law, and depends on third-party AI, payment and infrastructure providers. We may modify features with reasonable notice for material changes. If we discontinue the Service entirely we will provide at least 30 days notice and refund unused top-up credits pro rata.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Settings, which erases your data per the Privacy Policy. We may terminate accounts for material breach after notice, or immediately for serious abuse.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, Australia, and disputes are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts. Consumers retain the protections of the law of their place of residence.
